I am a second generation Certified Public Accountant with more than 17 years experience in public practice. I have a B.S. in Accounting and M.S. in Taxation from Arizona State University, where I graduated at the top of my class. My expertise is in servicing small businesses and their owners. I have prepared thousands of tax returns throughout my career, advised on tax structures for complex transactions and ventures, secured tax-exempt status for non-profit organizations, provided representation on hundreds of inquiries from government agencies, and successfully negotiated installment agreements, offers-in-compromise and claims for innocent spouse relief. Throughout the course of their lives my clients may take and lose jobs, open and close businesses, marry and divorce, have children, purchase homes, go to college, win the lottery, declare bankruptcy, make investments, purchase insurance, become disabled, retire and lose a spouse—all of these are critical events that impact their tax situation.
