Review and reconcile SAP accounts for payroll, including quarterly filings for Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District (the District ) and the Salt River Valley Water Users’ Association (the Association) to the IRS, the Arizona Department of Revenue, the Arizona Department of Economic Security, and other taxing authorities. Complete and file federal and state income tax returns and quarter estimates for the Association, New West Energy, Papago Park Center, Inc., Papago Park Association, SRP Captive Risk Solutions Ltd, Salt Verde Financial Corporation and Gila River Water Storage LLC. Responsible for timely filing of 1099s to the IRS and vendors for the Association, the District, PPC Inc., SRP Captive Risk Solutions Ltd, Salt Verde Financial Corporation and Gila River Water Storage LLC. Complete and file quarterly requests for refund of Arizona fuel excise taxes, including properly accounting for the refunds in SAP. Complete and provide to vendors federal and state fuel excise tax exemption certificates. Provide annual payroll estimates to financial planning. Special projects as necessary including income tax implications for deferred compensation plan contributions and assisting in estimating changes to property tax rates for financial planning purposes.
