My career has included exposure to a wide range of Duke Energy business units, including Franchised Electric & Gas, Duke Energy International, Duke Energy Gas Transmission (what is now Spectra Energy) and various non-regulated Duke Energy businesses. I've advised business units and other corporate departments on a wide variety of tax matters, prepared and reviewed income tax returns for complex regulated entities, and directed controversy work at both the US Federal and state level. I've also acted as a subject matter expert on tax issues regarding certain regulatory audits. I've supervised a work group of up to 11 workers over the last six years.
