Professional Summary
I have worked in public practice and also held senior positions in two FTSE MNCs (as Deputy Director of Tax and Global Head of Tax) and currently work across Europe (W and CEE), Russia and former Soviet Union states, Middle East and Africa for Bechtel, one of the world's largest enginerrign and construction companies as its Regional Head of Tax for EAM. I have been involved with a number of different industries with an emphasis in the latter half of my career on technology, engineering and construction. I have dealt with all most aspects of planning including M&A work, restructuring, income repatriation, financing and transfer pricing including supply chain optimisation in addition to working on major domestic and international tax audit/controversy matters (including direct dealing with foreign tax authorities) plus employee mobility tax issues.
I have a good track record in managing relationships with tax authorities at home and overseas.
I have also dealt with restructuring/reviving in house tax teams and been part of change management programmes.
