Currently Director, European Tax , Indirect Tax, Customs and Export Controls for Caterpillar: the world’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment and diesel engines. Based in Leicester, UK and leading a team of 47 direct and indirect tax and customs professionals in 12 locations worldwide. Responsible for direct and indirect taxes for 140 companies with activities in all territories in the EAME region and for Global Policy and processes for all Indirect Taxes, Customs Duties and Export Controls compliance. Previously UK tax manager for Caterpillar, and between 1988 and 1998 senior tax manager and Tax Director with Price Waterhouse in the UK, focusing on International Taxes for inbound and outbound investors. Prior to joining Price Waterhouse, spent 7 years with the Inland Revenue in various locations in England in investigation and management roles.
