Specific projects included: amended two years federal returns for Section 338(h)(10) election with respect to the purchase of the company; planned/implemented cross border JV for Chinese manufacturing/distribution; structured subsidiaries to minimize withholding taxes in Taiwan and China PR; planned/implemented tax efficient dividend repatriation from Japanese parent; implemented worthless stock on Mexican subsidiary; researched & drafted memorandum for intercompany debt/equity characterization for FIN 48 purposes; managed Malaysian transfer pricing audit; and JSOX implementation and documentation
