Joe Goldman has been a tax partner at Jones Day since 2000. His practice involves structuring and documenting international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, post-acquisition integration of global businesses, restructurings and intellectual property licensing, and defending disputes with the IRS. His primary concentration is in cross-border taxation, and he works with clients to maximize tax efficiency by developing specialized planning for deferral, FTCs, transfer pricing and profit repatriation. He works extensively with clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, spirits, services, energy and automotive industries, and adheres to aggressive timetables to maximize client business opportunities. He is a member of the ABA, DC Bar, and NY State Bar.
