Further reponsibilities also involve leading a team of eight in consultation with three different business divisions on projects such as coordinate transfer pricing practices with management reporting measures; revise management fee and shared service billings to comply with both US and OECD documentation requirements; advise on tax implications of centralizing operations in financial and engineering service centers; merge and consolidate maquiladora operations; and research the US international, federal and state implications of refinancing structures.
Prior experience also includes establishing a state tax department and developing and documenting SOX compliant processes and standards; as well as working in Big 4 Washington National Tax consulting on legislative developments, IRS protests, office quality reviews, and tax research and planning ideas.
