In charge of the fiscal operations of the agency. Prepare and interpret relevant reports and analyses for senior staff. Implemented a number of cost-saving strategies which resulted in a substantial reduction of our Other Than Personnel Services expenses. Work with Office of Management and Budget in all matters pertaining to this agency’s budget. Ensure that grants are properly accounted for to Federal, State and private agencies. Interface with auditors from various New York City agencies as well as grantors. Work with a staff of five, including a Deputy Chief of Fiscal to ensure timely payment of bills and accurate accounting for expenses.
