Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to conduct interviews with clients for the purpose of eliciting personal information required to file their taxes. Diligently ensuring that every client is receiving all the industry specific credits and deductions he/she is entitled to. I also advise clients of the different forms, schedules and credits available to them as appropriate for their filing status and income levels. Verify client documents to ensure that correct dependent credits are claimed and to avoid penalties, especially in the case of Earned Income Credit. Respond promptly and knowledgeably to general queries regarding tax matters and filing procedures, additionally, accurately input all data using relevant tax software to calculate the client’s taxes. Fulfill responsibility for verifying the accuracy of the client’s filed tax return, promptly identifying any discrepancies and recommending corrective action
