I have been exposed thru my previous employer to various data of terminated pension post-employment benefit plans such as ESOPs and others. I have many years of experience in applying regulatory knowledge and understanding of pension plan administration under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974(ERISA). I have processed payments of grantee pension for eligible and performed legal research to verify benefit eligibility. I have review benefit calculations and reviewed plan with insufficient cash flow in order to termination them. I have administered participant’s reconciling of financial records, performing benefit calculations, performed participant database building, and written memos for the permanent files for ongoing administration and management. I have over three years of working with a local trust & estate company as an accountant. There I interface with clients, lawyers and regulators explaining processes and procedures. I have many years of diversified accounting working with many accounting systems and procedures. Reconciled various accounts using a computerized accounting system and prepared work related journal entries for monthly closing along with processing payroll accounts. Prepared work related financial statements and tax forms from computerized reports. I have a master’s degree in taxation and I learn about deferred compensation, prototype plans, IRS determination letters, IRS testing of plans, expose to 401K process.
