Tony Montalto, CPA, CGMA, is a Partner in the tax services practice of O’Connor Davies, LLP. He has more than 40 years of experience providing general accounting, review and compilation, consulting and tax advisory services. His industry niche expertise include tax and financial advisory services to high-net-worth individuals as well as trust and estate planning, personal service companies, construction contractors, food importers and distributors, entertainment businesses, municipalities, private foundations and a host of other industries. Mr. Montalto’s broad background in the entertainment industry includes experience with television, commercial and motion picture production. His deep knowledge of merchandising, importation and distribution is a result of his more than 30 years of involvement in the food importing and distribution industry. During his career, Mr. Montalto has performed services for business clients in mergers and acquisitions. He has also served in the role of “personal financial officer” providing a broad range of assistance to businesses and professional practices. In addition, Mr. Montalto was the founder and Managing Partner of a public accounting firm for over 35 years.
