It is my pleasure to provide you with the first notice about the 2012 TEI Region VII Annual Conference to be held at the beautiful and recently renovated Westin Hilton Head Resort. The 2012 Region VII Conference will be held beginning Wed. Evening June 27 and end Sunday morning July 1, 2012. The Westin has provided us with an exceptional rate, free internet, free parking and other amenities.

The conference will once again follow the familiar pattern of an opening reception on Wednesday evening, technical sessions beginning at 1:00 on Thursday and at 7:00 on Friday and Saturday. An audit roundtable discussion is planned for Sunday at 9:00. There will be a golf tournament on Friday at 1:30 and there will also be many cocktail parties and receptions during the conference. As a thank you to our members who have attended with their spouse in the past, please bring them for free again this year!!!

The technical sessions will qualify for over 16 hours of CPE (We are working on CLE) and will include timely topics presented by some of the best speakers in their fields and in government including: Eric Solomon, Don Korb, Handy Hevener, Glenn Carrington, Mike Murphy, Mark Silverman, and Bill Wilkins (IRS Chief Counsel). There will also be several smaller sessions.
