This presentation will cover the key issues and discuss latest developments in this continuously evolving area including: strategies for minimizing or deferring tax on exit, the latest on entrepreneurs’ relief and Employee shareholder status.

Practical Tax Compliance Issues for Private Equity Funds: A number of recent HMRC initiatives have made the UK tax compliance burden for PE houses more onerous. Achieving the tax position anticipated at the fund structuring stage requires more care and attention than it did a few years ago. This presentation will look at some of the recent changes and highlight some of the additional steps required.

Global Strategies for Structuring and Delivering Carried Interest: Carry issues continue to be at the top of the agenda for private equity houses. It is therefore crucial to gain an in-depth understanding of Carry regimes in key jurisdictions for PE, their risk and their opportunities. This session will give you a detailed overview of the profit-share model (UK and US compare and contrast) and latest views from key jurisdictions.
