Is it legal for your employer to charge you to view your W2?
I did not receive my W2 this year but I did receive it last year at m same address. After calling my previous employer multiple times to inquire how I could obtain it, they referred me to an online HR website. The site displays a typo error in my billing address and requires me to pay $20 to view, fax, or mail my W2? Is this legal?

Your employer is required by law to provide you either a hard copy of your W2 or a free digital copy (if you opt for that) each year. If they have provided the required copy and you need another one then there is no statute barring them from charging for extras.
