Learn The Truth Watching Stunning Videos And Ask Congress For Tax Reform

Kat Jennings, CEO

Congressional Tax Reform has the opportunity to end the United States practice of imposing direct taxation on people who live in other countries. The majority of Americans are totally unaware of the current issues surrounding Americans abroad. People are shocked to hear these stories. TaxConnections will continue to bring you these heartbreaking stories of individuals around the world caught in this web of financial ruin!

Recently, one of our internationally recognized tax experts contacted us about the importance of keeping the public aware of Americans abroad stories. On behalf of the millions of hard working American citizens living outside the United States, we ask you to pause to listen to these stories of tax laws gone bad – very bad for U.S. citizens living abroad! All we ask is that you listen to the videos provided here.

After you watch the videos, we ask for your help by simply signing the petition being sent to Congress!

The tax candidates we introduce to clients are hidden and will never submit a resume through a resume portal tracking their activity. This leaves an underground population of tax candidates inaccessible to most companies who seek technically sophisticated tax executives for their open tax roles.

  • Terrific program Should be effective. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

  • Kat, many thanks for this. As an expat, this recognition of the challenges facing us means so much! I already signed the petition and urge all fellow expats and their families to do the same. If there is anything else I can do to help, please let me know.

  • FATCA obliged me to leave my bank here in France where I’ve been living since 1975 (left the states at 7 years old never went back !).
Now I have a buralist account not subject to FATCA and I bought gold in a private Suisse safe with my savings.
Now I’m fully protected from the bail in rules.
That is one positive thing about FATCA.
And I don’t file to the illegal IRS and never will.
But for others who still have a connexion to the US and have to go back there, this situation is terrible. Shows the behaviour of those who own the federal reserve. Now I know all about them to.
I thought we were in democracy, definitely not.

  • Thank you Kat Jennings for this post. It is truly refreshing to hear someone express concern for the situation Americans abroad find themselves in. Such a change from “tax cheats” “scofflaws” etc. Really, really appreciate this.

  • Thank you for sharing this. The problem is real. I have a bank account here in Sweden, but always concerned that at any moment it can change. The employees freely say the banks do not like to deal with US citizens. My husband and I keep finances separate as he wants nothing to do with the US as it is a foreign government. I know women who cannot have their names on the family home because of US tax laws. This puts many at risk financially should the relationship dissolve. The average citizen living overseas is not a criminal and gladly pays taxes to the country they reside in. It is time to change FATCA.
